About the 0808 number
0808 numbers are national location independent phone numbers which are free to call. They are therefore not tied to a city or region and they are always free to call. Ofcom allocates them to telephone providers, not to the businesses that use them, and your provider assigns the number to your company.
You can always call 0808 numbers for free. The call costs are paid by the number holder. This is exactly the same as with 0800 numbers, which are also free for the caller.
