New Zealand customers call a New Zealand number, and that makes a difference to both response and trust. Below are the numbers on offer and what they cost.

The question that decides everything

Which New Zealand number can your business have?

Not every New Zealand number has a settled rule on whether you need an address in New Zealand. Where it is not settled, we check it with you before you order.

Request a number

What a number abroad costs

£43 per monthper number

The same amount in every country — a New Zealand number costs no more than a UK one. Including the full phone system: forwarding, IVR menu, call queue, call recording and statistics.

Just testing the market

£220 per yearprepaid

One line, one forwarding number, no features. For anyone who first wants to know whether the phone rings at all before setting up a phone system. That is less than £19 a month — under half the full rate, with exactly one thing that works: the number rings and the call reaches you.

And the call charges

Those depend on where the call goes

A call that arrives in New Zealand and goes on to a UK VoIP line costs a different amount from one to a New Zealand mobile. You get that rate with your proposal; it is the one thing we cannot put on the page, because it differs per route.

How it works

From request to a ringing phone

  1. You tell us what you need

Which city or which type, and whether you have a New Zealand address. If you're not sure, we'll look at it with you.

  2. We check and send a quote

Within one working day you get a proposal with the current rates and an honest answer on whether it can be done. Sometimes the answer is that an 0800 number will serve you better than a local number.

  3. The registration

If the number needs proof of address, we submit it to the regulator. That is the only part you have to wait for.

  4. Forwarding to your team

The call arrives in New Zealand and lands with your colleagues in the UK. The caller dials a New Zealand number and never notices the difference.

Frequently asked questions

About New Zealand phone numbers

When someone calls your New Zealand number, you hear a short announcement or beep before the call connects. This lets you identify New Zealand calls and answer appropriately.

We offer numbers across all New Zealand regions: 9 (Auckland), 4 (Wellington), 3 (South Island, including Christchurch and Dunedin), 7 (Waikato and Bay of Plenty, including Hamilton and Tauranga), 6 (lower North Island, including Palmerston North and Napier). 0800 toll-free numbers are also available.

The New Zealand rules do not settle this clearly. Whether a toll-free 0800 or local geographic number needs an address in New Zealand, we check with you before you order. CallFactory can assist you with this during setup.

A 0800 toll-free number is free for callers from any New Zealand phone and covers the entire country. A local geographic number carries a regional area code such as 9 for Auckland or 4 for Wellington, which signals a local presence in that specific region.

Yes. Calls to your New Zealand number are forwarded to any UK landline, mobile or VoIP destination. You can change the forwarding destination at any time through your online account.

No. New Zealand toll-free 0800 numbers can only be dialled from within New Zealand. Callers outside New Zealand should use your local geographic number or your standard UK number.

New Zealand is twelve hours ahead of the UK (NZST, UTC+12). During New Zealand daylight saving (late September to early April), the difference is thirteen hours. This makes real-time overlap during standard business hours limited. Consider using voicemail or time-based routing to manage calls effectively.

Visit our rates page for the most current pricing. Costs depend on the number type and the volume of calls you expect.
